The future of marketing is connected, relevant and continuously improving

Seamless customer journeys are shaped by marketers who learn from every interaction and use that knowledge to create more relevant experiences. Wayby exists to replace fragmented marketing with one connected workflow built around marketers.

Why we built Wayby

Wayby was born from a simple observation: marketing had become increasingly sophisticated, while the experience after the click often stayed the same. Companies spent significant resources driving traffic through campaigns, but visitors frequently landed on generic experiences that ignored the context that brought them there.

Marketing had become fragmented. Campaigns, landing experiences, customer journeys, testing, and insights often existed separately instead of working together. Wayby was built around the belief that marketing shouldn’t be optimized as disconnected parts, it should work as one connected journey. We believe marketing should create relevant experiences instead of generic ones, and that marketers should spend less time fighting fragmented systems and more time creating, testing, learning, and improving.

This thinking became the foundation of First Impression Personalization. Wayby helps marketers create connected customer journeys and more relevant experiences by connecting audiences, campaigns, landing page experiences, insights, and action into one connected workflow. Because the first impression is never just a detail.

What guides us

Connection

We believe marketing works better when it’s connected. We reduce unnecessary complexity by connecting journeys, data, experiences, and execution so marketers can create, test, improve, and act faster and with more confidence.

Relevance

We believe better marketing creates more relevant experiences for customers and better outcomes for businesses. Generic experiences create friction, relevant experiences create value.

Challenge

We question accepted marketing practices, fragmented customer journeys, and generic experiences. We are not afraid to challenge the way things have always been done.

Intentionality

We believe marketing is designed with purpose. We value quality, creativity, and thoughtful execution because the first impression is never just a detail.

Who is building Wayby

Dini Mäntylä

Founder, CEO

Dini is the bold visionary behind Wayby, with a background in software engineering and marketing. Calm, honest, and quietly ambitious, he’s a leader who listens closely, makes space for others, and lets the work speak for itself. Free time rarely means sitting still: if there isn’t a construction project underway, there’s football or floorball, hunting, or time with his family and dogs. If Wayby were a movie, he’d choose Forrest Gump: startup life is a little like a box of chocolates, you never quite know what you’re going to get.

Veikko Piirainen

Founder, Head of Operations

Our Mr. Worldwide's career has taken him across the globe, from the game industry to a few successful exits. He’s happiest in the middle of the action, solving problems, spotting opportunities to improve, and turning ideas into tangible results. Decisive and relentlessly goal-oriented, Veikko keeps things moving, usually accompanied by a perfectly timed meme or a saying nobody saw coming. Always aiming higher, he runs on determination, gym, Chinese cuisine and an unhealthy dose of chili.

Tuukka Järvinen

Founder, Head of Sales

Tuukka has over 20 years of experience in sales and a natural talent for understanding customers, building relationships, and bringing people together. He’s part sales leader, part walking library, and part endless idea generator, always ready with a fresh perspective or a useful resource. Somehow both calm and capable of talking for an impressively long time, Tuukka is a salesperson through and through. He thrives in the fast-paced startup world, where no two days look the same. His Wayby soundtrack? Anything but Ordinary by Avril Lavigne, because ordinary was never really the plan.

Jesse Lohisto

Founder, Chief Technology Officer

Jesse is the one-person powerhouse at the heart of Wayby’s product development. He combines software development expertise with strong business understanding, always looking beyond what can be built to the value it should create. His work has played a key role in how much Wayby’s small team has been able to achieve, turning ambitious ideas into a product that delivers real value to a growing user base. Focused, practical and relentlessly value-driven, Jesse makes sure technology always serves a clear purpose.

Minka Heininen

Marketing & Design Lead

Playful by nature and a designer at heart, Minka draws from a comprehensive business background and thrives where creativity meets structure. Driven by how things look, feel, work, and stay with people, she likes her ideas innovative, concepts clear, and outcomes anything but generic. A trustworthy workhorse, as Dini once put it. Away from work, she finds balance in countryside life, sports, music, wellbeing - plus Spartan challenges, her very literal way of overcoming obstacles.

Aysu Yildiz

International Growth

Aysu brings an explorer’s mindset to Wayby, her career having taken her from industrial engineering to international sales and across different countries along the way. She thrives on new challenges, meeting people and discovering what’s around the next corner. At Wayby, she’s excited by the sheer number of businesses out there waiting to be reached. The same spirit follows her beyond work, where travelling and diving keep the next discovery close. While most people prefer sharks at a safe distance, Aysu knows there is nothing to be scared of and swims alongside them, and hopes to play a part in protecting them.

Anni Vesajoki

Marketing & Design Intern

Originally trained in business, Anni started her career with numbers and spreadsheets before making her way to the more creative side of things, a journey that has taken her across Europe. Calm and curious, she is Wayby’s storyteller, with a genuine love for writing and turning ideas into stories worth telling. Outside of work, she has a habit of picking up a new language every now and then, with great enthusiasm and a slightly less impressive track record when it comes to actually finishing them.
